whoa, a taste of summer definitely, 35 degrees today!
Can’t wait for the weather to cool down a little more so I can head to the beach after!
yay for more beach photo!=)

It’s Christmas soon! Lush came out with their christmas edition soaps( I have no idea why they’ve not got the halloween edition products up and selling yet in stores)

Angel’s Delight!
This is perhaps the prettiest soap I think they’ve got! It’s oh so colourful and look at the glittery bits in em!

I don’t usually use foundation because
1) I’m worried that my skin will breakout
2) I can’t be bothered

But apparently you can use this with your moisturiser, mix it with your moisturiser in a 50:50 ratio and you’ll get a very nice moisturising foundation =)

I only need a very minimal coverage for my skin so I thought this would be good for a everyday use foundation/powder. They were doing a promotion for the products at a very very good price so I thought heck why not=)

Was invited to this house party last night and guess what they have planting in their backyard!
A mulberry tree!

I’ve never seen a mulberry tree before, actually come to think of it, I’ve never even seen mulberries being sold in supermarkets!
Picking the mulberries were great fun, though a little more difficult since we had to distinguish the ripe mulberries from the unripe ones( ripe ones are in a dark purple shade)

Here’s a easy little strawberry jam for summer I found on the internet!=)
You need
1kg strawberries, hulled, halved
1kg white sugar
Juice from 1/5 a lemon

1)Place strawberries in a saucepan and stir through sugar. Leave for 1-2 hours while sugar softens the fruit.

2)Add juice then cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until fruit is soft.

3)Remove 1/3 of fruit. Set aside. Cook remaining mixture until fruit is mostly dissolved and jam coats the back of a spoon. Divide reserved fruit between the jars then fill with jam. Allow to cool, then seal with lids

4)Take a photo of your food and enjoy!
