Easy Lemon Tea Recipe with True Lemon

The weather recently has been insane. If you can’t tell by now, I’m no big fan of hot weathers, hence why I always travel during winter time so with this heat, I’m pretty much not functioning properly. I have also one problem, I avoid cold drinks, which is why battling this hot day can be difficult. I find during hot weather I lack appetite(which then causes gastric so that’s a no go) and I get super agitated easily(not good for the people around me) so I’ve been on a constant lookout for ways to cool myself down. Here’s one of my favorite drink recipe, and it’s so easy to make you can literally have it prepared anywhere.

    All you need is

  • Your fav tea leaves
  • 600ml Water (Hot water in my case)
  • 1 sachet of True Lemon
Before I start, let me tell you a little more about True Lemon, you might be wondering why I’m not using the big round yellow lemon but let’s be honest, lugging around lemons aren’t exactly fun(then having to find knives to slice etc, such chore) and having them immersed too long in your drink makes your drink bitter, so no lemon fruit for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love my lemons but I’m no big fan of the hassle I have to get through to obtain those vit C from the fruit so when True Lemon kindly sent me a box to try, I was keen to give it a shot

True Lemon’s a 100% Natural, cold-press crystallised fruit with no preservatives and no artificial flavouring. Health benefits are exactly the same as the real fruit because it is made from the real fruit so it’s just so much easier carrying and using the sachet around. They come in a packet of 32 so it’s roughly a months worth of consumption and they have a shelf life of 2 years so thats def much better than having your lemon to last for just a week.

Anyways, back to my tea recipe.

If you are a fan of cold drinks, you can always refrigerate or add ice after, I just prefer my tea hot.The instructions are quite simple, let your tea sit to your preferred intensity

Then stir it evenly
Then all you do is add in the the crystallized lemon

And there you have it, something so easy. Add in honey if it’s too sour but it’s def a great way too keep yourself refreshed through the scorching hot weather

They also come in 3 other flavors, if lemon ain’t your thing there’s lime, grapefruit and orange too!
