Week 15

Last week has been more of a quiet week, focusing mainly on my blog and also spending more time sewing my skirts.I’ve so far made 4 skirts, 3 I’m quite happy with and one, not quite so but guess I’ll just need more practice. I usually get my fabric from Yee button, they’ve got the cutest prints ever, a little on the pricier side but always ever so worth it.

Cutting the pattern and putting the materials together wasn’t difficult, but it took me almost a half day trying to figure out how to use the sewing machine. I impressed myself by actually not destroying it but we’ve since come to a mutual understanding to how to work together to make the sewing possible

Gonna try and sew some A line skirts for my upcoming trip! I’m really looking forward to my next getaway.

LaCC Nail Polish
Then on Thursday, I was very much fortunate to be invited to LaCC nail polish launch.

They have got the cutest nail polishes color and they are also Wudhu Friendly, which is extremely useful for those who require their nail polishes to be water permeable. The nail polishes are also 10-free

Free from
ormaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, phthalates, fragrances and animal ingredients.

They require two coats for a nice opacity on the nails but the application is smooth and colors quite true to the bottle, you can check out more at http://www.laccbeauty.com

The colors are mega cute, and these are the ones that has def caught my eyes. I can never really resist pastel nail polish colors but some of the darker nail colors they’ve got are really gorgeous too. I particularly like the forest green one but for now here’s my fav picks of em lot

Then on Friday, Me, May and Charles headed out for dinner and had the most amazing homemade gnocchis at Livello Uni at TTDI. The place is halal friendly and honestly has very authentic italian flavours to their dishes.Prices are extremely friendly and food quality was def not to disappoint.

We didn’t try their desserts as May was craving for the Madeleines from Gallery (another must try) and we headed over to Bond for drinks with the rest of the gang after.

Then on Saturday, I woke up very a late 1130am, frantically got ready and picked up Illy for our Jurlique event at Empire Damansara.

If you follow me on snapchat(id: yukikotan) you’d know that we were given a chance to make our own terrarium. My plant for now is still surviving, it’s 3 days in so that’s a record but I’ll be doing a separate blogpost on the Jurlique handcreams because they are just so pretty and I just can’t miss out on a photo op

I’m usually a huge fan of Jasmine but their lavender hand cream has really won me over this time around.

My Thoughts

Then on Sunday, had lunch again with May and Charles, then shopped a little before heading out with the family for dinner. My brother suggested Thai(only because I was so sick of Chinese food) but we’ve had the most heartwarming homecooked thai food at CenterPoint. I don’t know why I’ve not noticed this restaurant but the decor is super on point. We made reservations, which was a smart choice because when we walked into the restaurant it was already fully booked! We really enjoyed our meal so if you are a Thai food lover, you might wanna give this place a try! It’s located just on the first floor in Centre Point- Baan Kun Ya

And that’s it for my week! How was yours?
