So I know we are getting abit tired of the Sabah post but here’s my last one I promise. I won’t be blogging about the wedding because I don’t think it’s too nice for me to be posting up photos of others people without their permission. Had an amazing time though, but let’s get on with this post. After our trip to the islands, Nate booked us dinner at Coco Joe’s Bar Grill in Shangri-La Hotel coz I was going on about how amazing the place is and how much I really wanted to do some photos there. We called in for a nice spot next to the beach, and the waiter was ever so nice to waive off the minimum spending for the cabana since it was only us 2.
I’ve been dying to try on these rose gold sticker tattoo but never had much chance to wearing it so this was the perfect time!
We got there and they led us to our cabana. Boy was it pretty! The cabana is huge, which probably can fit about 4-6(8 if you don’t mind squeezing abit) comfortably.
And we had the best view for the sunset.
Me being me, I just had to do an OOTD photo.It’s a good thing now Nate has recently taken interest in photography. His skills has improved so much I’m def not complaining. Here’s my outfit for the day. Off shoulder top and flower skirt from random shops in Bugis Street.
and then our drinks came. We ordered their seafood grill, which came with 2 glasses of rose/champagne. Not wanting to miss out, we pick one of each.
Food came, looks amazing but I have to say I was quite disappointed with the food. It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t good either, and for the price you are paying you’d think you’d get more kick out of the food ya.
but the view, oh the view was spectacular. Couldn’t even really focus on dinner as we were busy catching the sunset.
Would I come back? I’d say the view was so amazing I’m happy paying for the food again to have a view like this the next time I’m here again.
