I love shopping, especially when the prices are something a little more affordable. Unfortunately for us, clothes shopping prices in Malaysia has gone rather steep especially when you buy them from the malls. I do like shopping in Bangkok but it really can be a hit and miss when you aren’t sure of the clothing season. This is why I’ve turned my addiction towards Taobao！ Usually when i mention the word “Taobao” I get people with really shocked faces, mainly telling me it would be a bad idea but to be honest, I’ve not quite had a bad experience just yet so I thought I’d share my tips and tricks to making sure we don’t get conned by the sellers！

1) Make sure you check the seller’s reputation | 卖家名誉
2) Check the amount that has been sold, avoid those that has less than 5 sales volume |每个月销售量，少过5个就算了
3) CHECK THE REVIEWS！ Most the time customers will upload photos of them in the clothes, so you’d get a feel to how the material will be like when worn |评语是你最佳朋友，尤其是那种有发照片的评语
4) Feel free to drop the seller a message if you have a question they have yet to answer | 若有疑问，请大大力按下“和商家联系”这个按钮

I’ve recently been obsessed with flute sleeves, so you can probably see all my tops are of flute sleeves in this haul. They can be quite tricky to pair it up, so I thought I’d show some other ways to wear them instead of just jeans/skirts.

To be completely honest, not my favourite look, but that’s only because this look looks a little too work like for me, and it’s also paired with the pants, I’m still a bigger fan of skirts.

This is a dress I really really love, it’s got all the elements I really do enjoy, but the only downside to the dress is that the material of the dress is rather thick, making it slightly unsuitable for extremely hot weather, but it’s of excellent quality.

One of my favourite look! I really like the combination of the reds with the stripes, probs would wear this for my upcoming France trip if the weather ain’t too hot.

To be completely honest, when I bought this dress, I wasn’t expecting the dress to be so detailed, but if you can tell from the photo, the lacing on the dress is quite pretty. It’s a little too white fancy for my liking and not flowy enough for me to wear it, probs because of the rubber that cinches around the waist so I’m still trying to find a suitable occasion to wear it

If you asked me, I think it’s a great way to find simple pieces you aren’t too quite willing to fork out a bunch of money but still want some sort of quality to the outfit. Just remember to check the details of the product to avoid being scammed by the shops!
